Paul Simon wrote, “She got diamonds on the soles of her shoes…” Well, I’m not sure about diamonds, but it doesn’t matter is you’re walking in Christian Louboutin heels or Converse sneakers – take a minute to think about where the soles of your shoes have been. Around town? Around the country? Around the world? And who has been there with you through these adventures? Taking a stroll gives you time to catch up, talk about your day, make plans and just enjoy each other! Love takes us all in a lot of different directions, but the journey getting there is half the fun.

Vegan Pasta Alfredo? Yes, it’s possible!
Thanks to one of our favorite bloggers – Jess Simpson, of Forgiving Martha, for sharing a yummy recipe that is absolutely perfect for a Sunday night dinner – especially during the end of January! Nothing much says comfort better than a big bowl of pasta with a rich and creamy sauce – oh and did we mention it’s vegan?
Pasta is also a great idea for dinner parties because it’s super simple to make in large quantities, and what goes better with pasta than wine!?! We recommend getting a group of friends and family together, making this recipe and catching up on life for a while. Heck, throw a couple logs on the fire and it couldn’t get much better!

Whether you’re in the market for a piece of art, an old sign or just looking for something special, spending the day shopping with good friends is always a recipe for success!
PS – Don’t forget to bring your camera along – documenting the trip is a great way to cherish memories and you can use those photos in a thank-you card to everyone who joined in on the day!
